Welcome to PayPOS, a website and app provided by Thrive Apps Pte. Ltd. ("Thrive Apps”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). This page explains the terms by which you may access and use our online and/or mobile services and software provided on or in connection with PayPOS. By accessing or using PayPOS, or by clicking a button or checking a box marked “I Agree” (or something similar), you signify that you have read and understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (this “Agreement”) and to the collection and use of your information as set forth in our Privacy Policy, whether or not you are a registered user of PayPOS. We reserve the right to modify these terms and will provide notice of these changes as described below. This Agreement applies to all visitors, users, and others who access Payment (“Users”).

1. General Terms

1.1 By accessing the website at https://paypos.app, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

1.2 PayPOS is a payment facilitation app built as a wrapper on top of Stripe. We enable businesses to accept card payments via Tap to Pay and other functionalities.

1.3 By creating an account, you acknowledge that you have the authority to bind your business to these Terms.

1.4 We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of PayPOS constitutes acceptance of any updates.

2. Use of PayPOS Services

2.1 Integration with Stripe: All payment transactions through PayPOS are processed by Stripe. By using PayPOS, you also agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.

2.2 Transaction Fees: PayPOS charges a 1% fee on all transactions, in addition to Stripe’s fees. Detailed fee structures can be reviewed in your Stripe account.

2.3 Service Limitations: PayPOS solely facilitates payment processing through Stripe. We are not liable for issues arising from Stripe’s systems, including transaction disputes, chargebacks, or payment failures.

2.4 Usage licence: Permission is granted to temporarily download materials (information or software) on Thrive Apps Pte. Ltd.'s website for personal or commercial use. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • modify or copy the materials;

  • use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);

  • attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on PocketVendor Inc's website;

  • remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or

  • transfer the materials to another person or mirror the materials on any other server.

2.5 This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Thrive Apps Pte. Ltd. at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

3. User Obligations and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Information: You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and to promptly update it as needed.

4. Liability and Disclaimers

4.1 General disclaimer: The materials on Thrive Apps Pte. Ltd.'s website are provided on an 'as is' basis. Thrive Apps Pte. Ltd. makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Thrive Apps Pte. Ltd. does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

4.2 Stripe’s Role: PayPOS acts as an interface for Stripe’s payment services. Stripe is solely responsible for:

  • Payment processing, security, and compliance.

  • Resolving disputes related to payment issues.

4.3 Limitation of liability: In no event shall Thrive Apps Pte. Ltd. or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on PayPOS's website, even if PayPOS or a PayPOS authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

5. Termination of Services

5.1 Voluntary Termination: You may close your PayPOS account at any time by contacting customer support at support@paypos.app.

5.2 Termination by PayPOS: We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Breaches of these terms.

  • Engagement in prohibited activities.

5.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you will lose access to the PayPOS platform and its services. Any outstanding fees remain payable.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

PayPOS complies with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore. For details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

7.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

7.2 Dispute Resolution: In the event of disputes:

  • Users must first attempt to resolve matters through mutual discussions.

  • Failing which, disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Singapore under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).

8. Stripe

Stripe is a registered trademark of Stripe, Inc. By using the PayPOS app, you hereby agree to both these terms, as well as the Stripe terms of service.
